Held at Hurkamp Park, vendors are permitted to sell their wares Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Saturdays are the busiest market days, especially from April to October. People who live in Fredericksburg VA can find a wide variety of fresh veggies and fruit, as well as locally raised meat and cheeses. Bread and other baked goods are available, as are herbs, plants, and flowers. During the holidays, the farmers market is the ideal place to get decorations and delicious food for celebrating.

The farmers market also hosts fun events. Art in the Park is held the first and third Saturdays of the month from May to October. There will also be a special Kids Market held on Saturday, June 18th. Kids will be selling produce they’ve grown themselves, as well as kid-made arts and crafts items.
