Are you looking for some fun Holiday traditions to start with your family?  Here are a few ideas to get into the spirit!

1. Get a real Christmas tree

  •     Something about finding and picking out the "perfect" Christmas tree always appeals to kids

  •     The smell of pine needles in your home will be another aspect of Christmas to love

2.  "Special gifts" to open on Christmas Eve

  •     Whether its new Christmas pajamas or an ornament - Children & adults LOVE this tradition! 

3.  Christmas Eve "routines"

  •      Start a Christmas Eve routine to follow every year 

  •      This could include getting ready for bed in new Christmas pajamas, Reading a classic Christmas story like The Polar Express, baking cookies, or watching a Christmas movie with hot chocolate and preparing for Santa! 

4.  Go Caroling 

  •      Christmas caroling is an old tradition but many still love to hear carolers around the holidays - Even if you don't have a great singing voice, go along for the fun and holiday spirit!

  •      Take family members along to add to the fun and merriment of it all and build memories for years to come!

5.  Make a Gingerbread house

  •      Kids love making Gingerbread houses and they make a great centerpiece for your table!

  •      This is something you and your children will look forward to doing every year even as they grow older
